The AACRAO presentation will explore the crucial role of registrars in maintaining student records and supporting institutional policies, highlighting why their work is important to the academic community. It will also cover the mission of AACRAO in advancing the professional practice of registrars and admissions officers, showing how the organization helps them adapt to new educational trends. The session will then discuss the acceptance of innovative credentials—like Verifiable Credentials (VCs), Comprehensive Learner Records (CLRs), and Learning and Employment Records (LERs)—by registrars.
